North and west of the river
Cross the Black Warrior and you are in Northport, the biggest town we serve outside the city, with everything from older homes near downtown to the vinyl subdivisions that keep going up north of the bypass. Our Northport page has the details. Further out, Coker and Samantha are more rural, with houses set back on acreage, long driveways and plenty of tree shade. Shade is what makes those driveways go dark and slick, and the long approach is usually the biggest piece of a concrete job out there. Well water is common on those roads too, which changes how we rinse but not the price.
East toward Birmingham
Cottondale and Holt sit just east of the city and get a lot of the same growth the Tuscaloosa neighborhoods do, with heavy pollen in spring and a green north wall by late summer. Keep following the interstate and you reach Brookwood, Vance and Coaling, where newer construction is mixed in with older homes along the county roads. Lake View is the far eastern edge of our route; we group it with the Vance and Coaling runs so nobody out there waits long for a slot, and the same soft wash that clears a Cottondale roof clears one in Lake View.
South toward the Black Belt
Duncanville and Fosters lie south of the city on the Highway 69 and Highway 82 corridors, with a mix of brick homes and newer vinyl. The crew heads down to Moundville on the same run, since it is the last stop before the county line and the river bottoms. Houses down there get the full share of the humidity, so black roof streaks and green siding are the usual reasons we are called, and they clean up the same way they do in town.
